Message from the President

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma (BCBSOK) celebrated a big year in 2015. We marked 75 years as Oklahoma’s oldest and largest private health insurer and it was great to look back and see all that we have accomplished. For a glimpse at how BCBSOK has evolved throughout the years Click Here to view photos, videos and testimonials about our history.

Since 1941, BCBSOK has been committed to being a community leader and partner for health initiatives and improvements. Our annual Social Responsibility Report is a chance to share stories about the valuable partnerships and the important work that is being done across the state.

In this report, you will see how BCBSOK continues to support important community programs such as the Oklahoma City bike share program, Spokies, the Alzheimer’s Association of Oklahoma, Tulsa Area United Way and the Oklahoma State Department of Health, just to name a few. BCBSOK also continues to invest in efforts that improve the health of Oklahomans now and for future generations, with the Healthy Kids, Healthy Families® program.

Our employees are committed to making Oklahoma a healthier place to live for their families and friends. Take a look at how they volunteered their time and talents to Oklahoma-based nonprofit organizations during the past year.

I am extremely proud of our employees and all that we have achieved in 2015. I encourage you to take a look at BCBSOK’s Social Responsibility Report and see how together we’ve made a positive impact on our great state.
